O Tutu dos Dufus
São das melhores bandas anti-qualquer-coisa que andam por aí a espalhar brasas. Seth Faergolzia em versão a solo mas acompanhado por Erin Riedel dos Dufus, passou discretamente por Portugal no ano passado. Os dois sozinhos fizeram a festa e lançaram os foguetes, num dos melhores concertos a que já assisti, no café Santa Cruz em Coimbra (concerto inserido nas comemorações dos 20 anos da RUC). Este é o vídeo oficial de "Tutu". Agora imaginem o potencial disto ao vivo. Ou de um tema chamado "Fun Wearing Underwear"... :)

Geek Chic
A vingança dos cromos, depois de anos a serem gozados; a malta que grava discos no quarto, salta em cima da cama, não faz pose para a fotografia, usa óculos de massa e aparelho nos dentes, veste camisolas às riscas e casaquinhos ao xadrez; grava demos em quatro pistas para ir bater à porta das editoras independentes, tem uma paixão inexplicável por teclados Casio e sintetizadores Moog e toca por tuta e meia em bares refundidos. Honra feita também às excepções à regra (alguém disse Radiohead?), bandas ligadas a grandes editoras que mantêm o espírito independente. Em termos sonoros, reflecte-se isto essencialmente em música indie, particularmente nas vertentes pop/rock, folk e electrónica.
